With the end of summer approaching, we definitely need something to sweeten up the weekend. We think good, old fashioned sugar is a great way to get the job done, especially in light of the new Sugarpova Pop-Up Shop at the Andaz Hotel on 5th Avenue. It’s a great opportunity to stock up on treats and get a look at the tasty work we collaborated on with the Sugarpova team. The ‘Pova Pop-Up features all the newest Sugarpova flavors, including Speedy, and will be in business until September 7th.

Once you’ve taken a ride on the Sugarpova gummy rainbow, head on over to the wacky world of Jeff Koons at The Whitney. With pieces from balloon dogs to psychedelic elephants, it will be the perfect complement to your Sugarpova high. Plus, it’s the last exhibition at The Whitney until they move to their new location in the Meatpacking District, so it’s a must-see.

And save some Sugarpova for Sunday, because an outdoor showing of Purple Rain at Habana Outpost in Fort Greene is the only appropriate way to spend a Sunday summer night in August. So step away from your couch, and squeeze every last drop out of summer…starting now!
