Yesterday there was Handybook. Today, there’s Handy! We are so excited for our friends at Handy, who unveiled their fitting new name today, which of course needed a new brand identity to go with it. We have been working with the team for the past few months to help bring the brand into its future, and have been so impressed by their commitment to create an experience that is unlike anything else out there today. With this bold rebrand, Handy has signaled to the world that they are the leader in on-demand home services, and we are thrilled to be a part of it.
We created the identity to capture the energy and excitement of the service, and more than anything, that amazing feeling of having a home that is clean and in order. The logo is heroic and a modern seal of quality home services. It’s also an ambigram.
“What’s so incredible about the mark is that it also reads Handy upside down. This communicates the versatility, consistency and efficiency of Handy’s service. After all, Handy handles your home completely, from top to bottom,” explains David Ricart, lead designer.
