The situation

Boxed was an online bulk shopping company with great traction from early adopters, but was constantly compared to its brick and mortar counterparts. We needed to build a brand that stood out from competition like Costco and Sam’s Club; a brand that people loved beyond just price and convenience.

The solution

We helped Boxed embrace bulk, and created an identity reflective of it throughout. By leaning into the emotional benefits of a stocked house - that weight-off-your shoulders feeling of being prepared for anything - we built a brand that consumers saw as essential for their homes.
