The situation

After spending her career curating the best of K-Beauty for her business, Soko Glam, Charlotte Cho decided to start her own skincare line, starting with the first two steps in a Korean skincare routine: an oil-based cleanser and a water-based cleanser. While Charlotte and her followers were well-versed in coupling these products for a “double cleanse,” we needed to introduce the concept to a new audience, while convincing them to change the fundamental routine of washing their face.

The solution

We created a custom script wordmark to evoke nostalgia and a sense of slowing down. Through photography, we romanced product textures and indulgent close-ups of the double cleanse. The color palette is meant to feel soothing, but not quiet; the bold periwinkle stands out on a bathroom shelf. The entire system comes together to express the transformative effects of going deeper, and inspires people to make time for the rituals that make a difference in our skin, our day, and our minds.
